The Financial Superintendence of Colombia is providing in-person assistance from Sept. 1 to 4 in Cali, Quibdó, Armenia, Pereira and Manizales for communities affected by the August earthquake. The initiative follows its guidance on insurance claims and its reminder that supervised entities must apply the Express Complaints procedure for affected financial consumers. Assistance is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and covers the identification and filing of petitions, complaints and claims. Consumers can also obtain guidance on cases covered by the Express Complaints procedure, applicable priority handling, their rights, available financial measures and relevant service channels.
