The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a lecture and workshop for University of Luanda students on the fundamentals of the capital markets and presented Angola’s general capital markets statistics as part of its financial education programme. Delivered jointly by its Studies and Financial Education Division and Strategic Planning Division, the session set out how the sector functions and its role in mobilising savings and financing the economy. Alongside the statistics briefing on market dynamics and behaviour in Angola, the workshop covered core concepts on the financial system, investment instruments, saving, risk management and investor profiling, and included an interactive Q&A segment.
