The Insurance Supervision Agency of Montenegro has published a notice inviting candidates to apply for the April 2026 professional exam required to perform insurance mediation and/or insurance representation activities. Applications, with supporting documentation, must be submitted to the Agency by 14 April 2026, with the exam to be taken in electronic form. Applicants can register for one of three exam tracks: insurance mediation and representation, mediation only, or representation only. The exam tests knowledge in basics of insurance, contract law, insurance mediation and insurance representation, with subject coverage varying by track; candidates who have already passed the mediation exam in Montenegro can sit only the representation subject to add that activity (and vice versa). The exam fee is EUR 100, and the Agency will accept only complete applications with the required documents, including proof of education, identification, and payment. The date, time and venue for the exam will be announced later on the Agency’s website.
