The Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority has updated its ‘My overall risk assessment’ tool and the accompanying handbook for insurance intermediaries subject to Belgium’s AML/CFT Law. The revisions reflect changes to the AML/CFT law and are intended to make the materials clearer and more user-friendly. The tool and handbook have been available since 22 May 2018 to support intermediaries in conducting their overall AML/CFT risk assessment. The updated guidance is set out in the FSMA_2025_13 Handbook, which is available in French and Dutch.
