The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) has launched the “PREVIC Dashboard – Citizen”, a free public platform providing consolidated open data and indicators on Brazil’s closed supplementary pension sector. Available from 2 September 2025 on PREVIC’s portal, it presents detailed information in plain language on 270 closed pension fund entities (EFPC) and 1,180 benefit plans, consolidating outputs from more than 20 data sources. The dashboard allows users to consult “headline figures” such as a plan’s total assets and coverage assets, and to navigate via dedicated sections for entity-level and plan-level information supported by explanatory notes. PREVIC positions the tool as an official channel through which participants, beneficiaries, sponsors, plan founders, EFPC professionals and other stakeholders can visualise and generate information and analyses about pension funds and their plans. The tool was developed with the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services under Project EVA (via Startup Gov.br and Technical Cooperation Agreement 138/2023). Following a preview on 14 July to sector representative bodies (Abrapp, Anapar, Ancep and Apep), some proposed improvements were incorporated into the launch version, with further suggestions to be addressed in the next development stage.
