The Angola Capital Markets Commission has approved the registration of BIC Corretora - SCVM, S.A. as a new securities brokerage firm, authorising it to operate as an intermediation agent under the Commission’s supervision. The registration permits the firm to receive and transmit client orders, execute orders on regulated markets or over the counter, manage discretionary portfolios and collective investment schemes, and provide investment advice including studies, financial analysis and other generic recommendations. It is also authorised to provide registration, deposit and custody services, place securities in public offerings without underwriting, and carry out the foreign exchange services necessary to support these activities within the applicable legal framework.
