Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas updates cancelled registration document list, directs banks not to honor listed documents

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas updated, as of the first quarter of 2026, its list of cancelled and replaced Bangko Sentral Registration Documents covering nonresident investments in resident investee firms. Authorized Agent Banks and their subsidiary or affiliate foreign exchange corporations must not honor listed documents presented to purchase foreign exchange for capital repatriation or remittance of earnings. The list covers original hard-copy and provisional electronic registration documents that were cancelled and replaced because of changes, transfers or other developments affecting the underlying investments, in accordance with the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions.
