The Central Bank of Russia announced that Larisa Pavlova will retire from the Bank of Russia on 30 January 2026, stepping down as Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch. Vladimir Egorov has been appointed Acting Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch. Pavlova has worked at the Bank of Russia for more than 40 years and held roles ranging from an economist at a branch of the USSR State Bank to Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch and a member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors. Governor Elvira Nabiullina credited Pavlova with building strong teams and developing talent, including in the Omsk and Volga-Vyatka branches.
