The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) held a financial education event for fourth to sixth year secondary students under the slogan “You can also invest. If you are informed, you make better decisions”, combining thematic panels, expert talks, interactive activities and discussion spaces aimed at improving young people’s decision-making on saving and investing. The programme at Palacio Libertad brought together representatives from the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic and Banco de la Nación Argentina alongside market participants and industry bodies including the Argentine Capital Market (MAV) and fintech and broker associations. Sessions covered practical explanations of capital market instruments, saving and investment, common online scams and digital risk prevention, and an introduction to financial technology and blockchain. In closing remarks, CNV President Roberto E. Silva linked the initiative to the CNV’s work to promote innovative rules and modernise Argentina’s capital market, while Vice President Sonia Salvatierra emphasised direct dialogue with young people.
