The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia presented “RoadToMarket”, a joint sandbox initiative that lets companies simulate capital market financing routes in an experimental, educational setting without creating actual regulatory obligations or costs. The programme is designed to give firms a realistic view of processes such as initial public offerings, bond issuance and access to venture capital through simulation, expert mentorship, and support from regulators and market professionals. A draft design and phased approach were shared with potential partners, who are expected to participate voluntarily by helping develop the methodology, educating candidates, and professionally evaluating sandbox materials. Hanfa and the Ministry of Finance will continue consultations and discussions with prospective partners as they work towards launching the initiative.
