The Indonesia Financial Services Authority provided an update on its 2026 startup acceleration agenda, highlighting two programs under OJK Infinity that are intended to support digital innovation in financial services and the broader digital economy. In remarks delivered at a focus group discussion on next-generation innovators, the authority described the programs as part of an innovation pipeline that runs from the idea stage through acceleration, regulatory sandbox and implementation. Participants in both programs have now entered intensive mentoring ahead of Demo Day. One program, the OJK Fintech Startup Accelerator, is being run with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs and focuses on startups developing technology for the financial services sector, including artificial intelligence, fraud detection, embedded finance, tokenization of real-world assets, digital cooperative platforms and Environmental, Social, and Governance platforms. The second, the OJK Infinity Accelerator, is being run with the Ministry of Creative Economy and targets intellectual-property-based innovation such as intellectual property tokenization, Web3, Non-Fungible Tokens, digital licensing and intellectual-property-based financing for the creative economy. Support for participants covers business diagnosis, market validation, product strategy, financial modelling, regulatory clinics and mentoring. The focus group discussion formed part of the acceleration series and brought together participating startups with regulators, investors, associations, academics and industry practitioners. The next stated milestone for the current cohorts is Demo Day.
