The Ontario Securities Commission has named the inaugural members of its newly established Capital Markets Advisory Committee, a senior advisory forum created on a pilot basis to provide strategic insight into developments, challenges and opportunities affecting Ontario’s capital markets. Members represent asset management, private equity, investment banking, public issuers, market infrastructure, legal and regulatory affairs, and emerging areas of innovation. They will serve one-year terms and advise on long-term trends, emerging risks, innovation, investor needs and capital formation. The committee will be co-chaired by Susan Greenglass, executive vice president of regulatory operations, and Naizam Kanji, executive vice president of strategic regulation.
