Portugal's Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) published an update on its chair, Margarida Corrêa de Aguiar, participating in the opening ceremony of the international conference “Development and Regulation of Insurance to face the Challenges of the New Era”, organised by the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) in Macau on 12 May 2025. The event also marked the start of the Advanced Training for Supervisors programme, a joint bilateral and international cooperation initiative promoted by ASF and AMCM and aimed at teams from supervisory authorities that are members of the Association of Lusophone Insurance Supervisors (ASEL), which includes both organisers.

The Portuguese Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) announced its chair, Margarida Corrêa de Aguiar, participated in the opening of the international conference on insurance regulation challenges, organized by the Monetary Authority of Macao. The event also launched the Advanced Training for Supervisors programme, a cooperative initiative by ASF and AMCM for members of the Association of Lusophone Insurance Supervisors.
