The Central Bank of Chile has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Deutsche Bundesbank to strengthen and deepen technical cooperation between the two central banks. Signed in Santiago by Central Bank of Chile President Rosanna Costa and Deutsche Bundesbank Executive Board member Burkhard Balz, the agreement establishes a framework for joint training activities, technical advice, seminars and specialist visits. The memorandum is intended to support mutual learning and comparative analysis in key areas of central banking, building on cooperation developed in recent years and reinforcing exchanges of knowledge, institutional capacity-building and the dissemination of good practices.
