The Reserve Bank of India has updated the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 to reflect the change in name of “North East Small Finance Bank Limited” to “slice Small Finance Bank Limited”. The change was made through Notification DoR.LIC.No.S1134/16.13.216/2025-26 dated May 14, 2025 and published in the Gazette of India (Part III-Section 4) dated May 16, 2025.
