The Taiwan Financial Services Commission reported that foreign and mainland investors recorded combined net sales of TWD 1,352.53 billion in TWSE and TPEx listed shares through Sept. 30, 2026. The total comprised net sales of TWD 1,225.93 billion in TWSE shares and TWD 126.60 billion in TPEx shares. Foreign investors accounted for net sales of TWD 1,231.62 billion on the TWSE and TWD 126.51 billion on the TPEx. Mainland investors recorded net purchases of TWD 5.69 billion on the TWSE and net sales of TWD 0.09 billion on the TPEx. Despite the net share sales, offshore foreign and mainland investors generated net inward remittances of USD 17.870 billion in September, taking 2026 net inward remittances through Sept. 30 to USD 108.390 billion and the cumulative total to USD 428.553 billion.
