The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Compliance Association Public Union to support the development of a compliance culture for financial and non-financial entities, promote advanced compliance practices and further increase alignment with regulatory requirements. The cooperation framework envisages awareness and information initiatives to develop and improve compliance mechanisms and principles of ethical conduct, including the organisation of seminars, training programmes, roundtables, conferences and other events for compliance professionals.
