The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas announced new appointments to its Dallas board of directors and to the boards of its Houston and El Paso branches, with directors serving three-year terms effective 1 January 2026. The Federal Reserve Board of Governors also redesignated Claudia Aguirre as chair and Gary Kelly as deputy chair of the Dallas board. For the Dallas office, the new directors are Johnny Brooks of Citizens State Bank and Hunter Hunt of Hunt Energy LLC and Hunt Consolidated Inc. The Houston Branch added Willie Chiang of Plains All American Pipeline L.P., and the El Paso Branch added Nicholas (Nico) Tejeda of Tenet Healthcare; Aguirre is president and chief executive officer of BakerRipley and Kelly is chairman emeritus of Southwest Airlines Co.
