Dubai Financial Services Authority Chief Executive Mark Steward has been appointed vice chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ Growth and Emerging Markets Committee, making him a member of the IOSCO Board. The committee brings together securities regulators from emerging and growth markets and has 95 members and 22 nonvoting associate members, including regulators from 10 Group of 20 economies. It identifies regulatory priorities, promotes market development and contributes to the development and implementation of international securities regulation standards.

Dubai Financial Services Authority Chief Executive Mark Steward has been appointed vice chair of IOSCO’s Growth and Emerging Markets Committee and joins the IOSCO Board. The committee helps set regulatory priorities and international securities standards for emerging and growth markets.
