The Central Bank of Honduras has received a donation of artistic and documentary materials connected to Honduran artist Pablo Zelaya Sierra. The collection includes Zelaya Sierra’s portrait of his father, Felipe Zelaya, and family correspondence belonging to the artist. The bank will incorporate the materials into its collection and assume responsibility for their preservation, study and public dissemination. The portrait and documents may be displayed at the bank’s cultural centers, adding to its existing collection of Zelaya Sierra’s work.
