Ireland’s Department of Finance published an update on the achievements of Irish participants in Cohort 16 of the Lloyd’s Lab Accelerator Programme. At a Dublin event, participants presented insurance products and solutions developed through the programme, with an emphasis on flood resilience, climate adaptation, cyber risk, artificial intelligence, export growth and geopolitical risk. The dedicated Irish theme formed part of a partnership between the department and Lloyd’s of London and supported the Action Plan for Insurance Reform and Ireland for Finance Strategy. The 10-week accelerator gave participating innovators access to Lloyd’s market experts to develop, test and refine commercially viable offerings.
