The Angola Capital Markets Commission has suspended the registration of Petrofund – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, S.A. (Petrofund SCR, S.A.) for 60 business days after determining that the firm no longer meets essential conditions to continue its activity. The decision follows ongoing supervision that identified deficiencies across operational, technological, human capital and financial capacities, affecting the ability to provide services with the required quality, professionalism and efficiency under Article 40 of the Legal Regime for Collective Investment Undertakings. The suspension was adopted by the CMC Board under Article 13 of Regulation No. 2/19 (rules for venture capital collective investment undertakings) and runs from 10 February 2026.
