The Bank of Italy announced it will participate in Intergraf Currency+Identity 2025 in Milan from 5 to 7 March, with a presentation on the use of generative artificial intelligence in banknote design. A dedicated stand will also showcase the Bank’s institutional activities in the design, development and production of banknotes. The conference will focus on technological innovation in security printing, the environmental sustainability of processes, and the role of digital technologies, bringing together industry firms, central banks, government authorities and law enforcement from around the world.
