The Guyana Ministry of Finance has published Budget Estimates 2026 Volume 2, setting out central government revenue and expenditure estimates, sector and agency allocations, and programme performance statements for 2026 alongside indicative projections through 2029. The estimates show total 2026 expenditure of G$1.56 trillion and total current and capital receipts of G$1.40 trillion. Funding assumptions include G$495.0 billion in Natural Resource Fund withdrawals, G$486.1 billion in tax revenue and G$331.1 billion in capital receipts. Spending is split almost evenly between current expenditure of G$778.0 billion and capital expenditure of G$779.6 billion. Infrastructure receives the largest sector allocation at G$447.1 billion, followed by social services at G$405.5 billion and general administration at G$322.0 billion. The document also sets out detailed allocations and performance targets for ministries, constitutional agencies and regional administrations, and projects total expenditure rising to G$1.92 trillion and total current and capital receipts to G$1.99 trillion by 2029.
