The Australian Securities & Investments Commission published an update that charges against Dean Scook, a former officer of Rock Mining Australia Limited, have been discontinued. Mr Scook had been charged with eleven counts of stealing as an officer of a company. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) filed a Notice of Discontinuance on 30 October 2025, with the decision announced at the Perth District Court during Mr Scookâs appearance. The prosecutor indicated the matter had been reviewed under the Prosecution Policy of the Commonwealth and, following that review, it was determined not to proceed with the charges.
