The Caribbean Financial Action Task Force published a notice that the financial intelligence units of Montserrat and Trinidad and Tobago have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a formal framework for cooperation and information sharing on money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing and other financial crimes, a step the notice says will support law enforcement cooperation and strengthen compliance with global AML/CFT/PF standards.

The Caribbean Financial Action Task Force said the financial intelligence units of Montserrat and Trinidad and Tobago have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and information sharing. The framework covers money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing and other financial crimes, and is intended to support law enforcement efforts and compliance with global AML/CFT/PF standards.
