The National Bank of Georgia published an update on the domestic investment fund market, reporting that assets under management increased 2.3 times in 2025 versus the prior year to GEL 459 million, taking total fund assets above GEL 450 million. As of 31 December 2025, 11 asset management companies and 21 investment funds were registered with the National Bank of Georgia. The activities of investment funds and asset management companies are regulated under the Law on Investment Funds and a National Bank of Georgia regulatory framework based on relevant European Union directives and core principles of the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
