The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan convened a meeting of the Macroeconomic Resilience Working Group to review the 2025 monitoring and evaluation results for 15 approved measures under three action areas of the strategy objective on resilience to internal and external impacts, and to agree next steps to increase the effectiveness of ongoing work. First Deputy Chairman Aliyar Mammadlyarov, chair of the working group, outlined results achieved under the objective and initiatives undertaken by the Central Bank. A representative of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication presented the 2025 monitoring and evaluation report on implementation, followed by discussions with representatives from the Central Bank, the Ministries of Economy, Finance, Labour and Social Protection, and Justice, as well as the State Oil Fund, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, the Deposit Insurance Fund, and the Agricultural Insurance Fund. The working group was established by an order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 12 June 2023 to coordinate implementation of measures under Azerbaijan’s 2022–2026 socio-economic development strategy.
