The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) published details of FATF Week in February 2025, confirming that its second Plenary under the Mexican presidency of Elisa de Anda Madrazo will be held in Paris on 19–21 February 2025. The Plenary will consider a range of developments related to combating illicit finance and will publish a summary of decisions after the meeting. FATF Week runs from 17 February and will bring together delegates from over 200 members of the Global Network and observer organisations, including the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, the World Bank, INTERPOL and the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units. The agenda includes discussion of a new FATF project intended to improve detection, disruption and investigation of online child sexual exploitation, work on strengthening financial inclusion through risk-based implementation of the FATF Standards, and progress by some jurisdictions identified as presenting a risk to the financial system. The FATF President will announce the Plenary outcomes in a press conference scheduled for 21 February 2025 at 16:30 CEST.
