The Single Resolution Board has published a public call for expressions of interest to appoint one Alternate member to the SRB’s Appeal Panel, the independent body that decides on appeals against certain SRB decisions under the Single Resolution Mechanism Regulation. The appointment is for a five-year term with the possibility of one renewal. Alternates may be called on to replace Appeal Panel members in cases of unavailability or potential conflicts of interest and may also be appointed as full members if a vacancy arises. Applicants are expected to have relevant knowledge and professional experience in banking or other financial services, including resolution experience, and a strong understanding of EU legislation and procedures, with a very good command of English. Applications are due by 1 March 2026, with further details available in the SRB call and the Official Journal of the European Union.
