Alternates may be called on to replace Appeal Panel members in cases of unavailability or potential conflicts of interest and may also be appointed as full members if a vacancy arises. Applicants are expected to have relevant knowledge and professional experience in banking or other financial services, including resolution experience, and a strong understanding of EU legislation and procedures, with a very good command of English.
