The Central Bank of Slovenia published its report on the operation of its breach reporting system under Article 269 of the Banking Act (ZBan-3), covering potential and actual breaches of the regulations referred to in Article 9(2). It recorded 33 reports received between 1 January and 31 December 2024, with 19 assessed as involving potential breaches of ZBan-3 or other regulations under its remit. Fourteen of those 19 cases were handled within the Central Bank of Slovenia’s jurisdiction, while five were forwarded to the European Central Bank (ECB) for further resolution. Twelve submissions were consumer reports that fall outside the scope of the breach reporting system and are being dealt with by other departments at the Central Bank of Slovenia, and two reports were deficient and could not be addressed.
