The Securities and Exchange Commission of Central Africa has launched a public consultation on a draft instruction covering the principal and ancillary activities of brokerage firms, collective investment scheme management companies and investment advisers. The draft is intended to clarify how the relevant provisions of the July 21, 2022 regulation on the organization and operation of the Central African financial market and the COSUMAF General Regulation should be applied. The consultation is open to market participants, other stakeholders and the public from May 22 to June 1, 2026. After the consultation closes, COSUMAF will review the comments received and publish the corresponding report on its website.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Central Africa has opened a public consultation on a draft instruction for the core and ancillary activities of brokers, collective investment scheme managers and investment advisers. The measure is designed to clarify the application of the 2022 Central African market regulation and the COSUMAF General Regulation. The consultation runs from May 22 to June 1, 2026, after which COSUMAF will review responses and publish a report.
