The Equal Opportunities Commission and Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority jointly held a digital awareness event on July 25 to improve access to public services and financial tools among people of different races in Hong Kong. The initiative addressed language and digital literacy barriers that can limit participation in digital services and affect individuals’ ability to manage their finances safely. Interactive booths and on-site interpretation provided guidance on registering for the eMPF Platform and iAM Smart, preventing scams, managing finances and understanding anti-discrimination ordinances. The authority highlighted the eMPF Platform as a one-stop service through which employers and employees can manage Mandatory Provident Fund accounts online.
