The Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) has launched the 2026 edition of the Guy Morel High Achievement Scholarship programme, offering two fully funded scholarships, one for undergraduate studies and one for postgraduate studies, for Seychellois citizens demonstrating academic and non-academic excellence. Applications are open until 30 January 2026. Eligibility requires Seychellois citizenship and an A-Level certificate or Baccalauréat. Artificial Intelligence is included as a field of study for the first time, alongside undergraduate disciplines such as economics, accounting, finance, law, banking, computer programming, information technology and statistics, and postgraduate options including financial technology, financial journalism, financial law, taxation and customs management, public finance management, anti-money laundering and compliance, sustainable finance, risk management, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The selection outcome is due to be announced at the start of March 2026, and successful applicants can study at a university of their choice on campus or via distance learning.
