The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has published an Action Plan to assess current conditions and establish a methodological framework to ensure equal and convenient access to financial services for persons with disabilities. The initiative also targets the adaptation of banking infrastructure to physical accessibility needs and the development of financial literacy educational materials. Planned measures include studies to identify barriers and needs faced by persons with disabilities in accessing financial services, methodological recommendations for financial institutions on how to support and serve customers with disabilities, and the development and adaptation of financial literacy content.
