The National Bank of Ukraine held the Emerging Researcher Forum 2026 in Kyiv as its ninth research event for young people. Seventeen emerging researchers from nine Ukrainian universities presented selected research proposals, abstracts and papers, with discussions involving National Bank of Ukraine representatives and invited experts. International Monetary Fund Resident Representative in Ukraine Priscilla Toffano delivered the keynote lecture. Topics included fiscal impulse analysis, exchange rate pass-through, lending availability, global risks and the financial resilience of crop production, the employment effects of digitalising bureaucratic procedures, and the economic impact of reintegrating internally displaced persons into the labour market. Governor Andriy Pyshnyy and Deputy Governor Volodymyr Lepushynskyi also met participating university rectors, and the jury recognised four papers in the categories of best poster, practical value of results, methodological mastery and high-level presentation of results.

The National Bank of Ukraine held its Emerging Researcher Forum 2026 in Kyiv, where 17 young researchers from nine universities presented work on fiscal impulse analysis, exchange rate pass-through, lending availability, global agricultural risks, digitalisation of bureaucracy and labour market reintegration of internally displaced persons. Discussions involved NBU representatives, invited experts and IMF Resident Representative Priscilla Toffano, who delivered the keynote lecture, and the jury recognised four papers across poster, practical, methodological and presentation categories.
