The Central Bank of Comoros published the result of a competitive term deposit tender that withdrew KMF 10.5 billion from the money market as part of its monetary policy operations. The liquidity absorption took effect on Aug. 20, 2026. Three institutions submitted three bids totaling KMF 10.5 billion, below the KMF 15 billion absorption ceiling. Accepted bids carried a weighted average rate of 1.95% and a marginal rate of 2.00%.
