The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) kicked off World Investor Week 2025 with the traditional bell ringing at B3 and an official opening event in São Paulo, linking the campaign to investor education initiatives on technology and digital finance, artificial intelligence, and preventing financial fraud and scams. The opening, livestreamed on the CVM Educacional YouTube channel, featured CVM Chief of Staff Maurício Bulcão Filho and the Superintendent for Investor Guidance and Sustainable Finance (SOI), Nathalie Vidual. Bulcão Filho emphasised that, beyond ensuring information reaches investors, investor education should equip investors to understand and use that information in capital markets, while acknowledging support from IOSCO, B3 and other participating entities.
