The Central Bank of Poland released monetary statistics showing that the M3 money supply increased by PLN 31.4bn in April 2025 to PLN 2,547.1bn, mainly reflecting higher household deposits and more cash in circulation. Household deposits and other claims included in M3 rose by PLN 17.0bn (1.3%) to PLN 1,372.4bn, while deposits of other financial corporations increased by PLN 1.6bn (2.1%) to PLN 77.0bn and non-financial corporations by PLN 1.5bn (0.3%) to PLN 505.8bn. Cash in circulation grew by PLN 10.2bn (2.5%) to PLN 414.0bn. On the liabilities side, debt increased for other financial corporations by PLN 5.2bn (2.4%) to PLN 226.2bn, for households by PLN 5.1bn (0.6%) to PLN 805.6bn, and for non-financial corporations by PLN 4.6bn (1.1%) to PLN 430.4bn, while net debt of central government entities rose by PLN 23.5bn (5.1%) to PLN 486.3bn.
