The Guernsey Financial Services Commission announced a new financial literacy partnership with EDUCFI, the French National Financial Literacy Strategy operated by Banque de France, to provide unbiased, easy-to-read educational material to help Guernsey residents better understand financial matters. Under the partnership, the Commission will translate and adapt Banque de France publications “Mot de l’Actu” and “Eco en bref” for local audiences. The materials are intended to offer free, trustworthy information on the economy and financial terminology, supporting more informed decisions on investment and credit options, particularly as crypto-assets, artificial intelligence and increasingly sophisticated scams proliferate and online “finfluencers” promote financial products. The translated publications are expected to be launched on the Commission’s website in the near future.
