The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has released an updated VSME Digital Template and Converter, adding Slovenian to the available languages and expanding customization options for VSME-based sustainability reports. The update is aimed at improving how users prepare and present reports through the digital tools. The new Converter features include footnotes for additional context on datapoints, an introductory section, a corporate logo, a cover page image, a page background image, report color themes with preset or custom options, dark or light mode, and the ability to override the report language selected in the template. EFRAG also said further reviewed translations will be released on an ongoing basis with support from national standard setters, and all resources are available on the VSME Digital Template and XBRL Taxonomy webpage. EFRAG said it will continue updating the tools following the future voluntary delegated act based on VSME to be issued by the European Commission.
