Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance has published a draft order proposing a pilot project to allow electronic records of completed work and services to show the actual date of turnover independently of the date the record is signed. The proposal would change the format of these records within the digital electronic invoicing system. Under the proposed pilot, participants would be able to specify the date on which work was completed or services were provided, rather than linking the turnover date to the signing date of the electronic record. This flexibility is intended to encourage users of the electronic invoicing system to adopt electronic completion records.
