The Central Bank of Kenya has announced that Mr. Gerald Nyaoma Arita has begun his term as Deputy Governor following his appointment by President William Samoei Ruto. Mr. Arita returns to the central bank after joining in August 1988 and serving in senior roles across the Financial Markets, Banking Services and Internal Audit departments, including as Director of the Bank Supervision Department.
