Bolivia's Ministry of Economy and Public Finance approved expanded rules for the Transport Credit Guarantee Fund, broadening access to financing for road passenger and freight operators nationwide. The fund now covers interprovincial, interdepartmental and international transport services. The fund has BOB 100 million in assets administered through Banco Unión and may guarantee up to 50% of a credit operation. Eligible financing includes vehicle purchases, repairs, upgrades and engine purchases, supporting the renewal and maintenance of the country's vehicle fleet.
