The Central Bank of Ireland announced it has completed the sale of its Spencer Dock East Wing building to the Office of Public Works for EUR 23.7m, as part of its longer-term property strategy to develop a single Dockland Campus. The sale to the Office of Public Works was completed on 22 January 2026 and follows the earlier sale of Spencer Dock West Wing to the National College of Ireland in September 2022. The Office of Public Works already leases part of the East Wing, covering the ground floor and floors 1 to 5 under a 20-year lease that began on 11 May 2015, and the building accommodates various government agencies. Spencer Dock is a six-storey office block over basement built in 2008; the Central Bank had rented it since 2008 before purchasing it in November 2015 for EUR 104m.
