The Angola Capital Markets Commission has reported that, under its Financial Education Programme, it held a workshop for the student community at the Portuguese School of Luanda on how capital markets and the economy operate in everyday life. The session was intended to strengthen young people's understanding of Angola's financial market and of the commission's role as the country's capital markets regulator and supervisor. Organised by the commission's Studies and Financial Education Division and led by Noemi de Lemos, the event brought together 120 students. It covered practical topics including the economy, the importance of money, supply and demand, profit, saving and investment, and included a question-and-answer segment.
