The Estonian Financial Supervision Authority, together with the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Estonia and the Estonian Banking Union, held an awards ceremony at the Bank of Estonia to recognise major contributions to promoting financial literacy in Estonia, granting 2025 awards and commendations across four categories. The main awards went to Naisinvestorite Klub (Promoter of financial literacy), Helen Karus (Teacher of financial literacy), Marko Oolo (Contributor to financial literacy) and a financial literacy project in five schools in Lääne-Virumaa (Financial literacy event). Commendations were awarded to the Pesapuu consultation and training centre, Kaidi Kornak, Viivika Vilja and Marin Vallikivi, and Investingwomen/girlsmoneymind, a Russian-language investment club for women. Event organisers and speakers linked wider access to reliable financial information to more responsible household decision-making and to stable and transparent financial markets, including outreach aimed at bringing more women into investing and supporting vulnerable groups.
