The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) awarded the “Aquí Sabemos de Pensiones” seal to the General Directorate of State Retirement and Pensions (DGJP), recognising the successful completion of pension-system training by DGJP staff. The seal is intended to certify an institution’s commitment to specialised training in the pension system. SIPEN reported that more than 80% of DGJP employees completed the programme, delivered in both virtual and in-person formats, covering topics including financial education, benefits of the individual capitalization system, survivor pensions, and old-age severance. SIPEN indicated it will continue promoting accessible pension training.
