The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (FSC) issued a public statement warning that Trustflow HedgeFund is not and has never been licensed or regulated by the FSC to carry on investment business or any other financial services business in or from within the British Virgin Islands, despite purporting to be regulated as a securities dealer. The statement was issued to protect customers, creditors and others who may have been solicited to do business with the entity. The FSC advised the public to exercise extreme caution and invited the submission of relevant information on questionable entities claiming to operate in or from within the Territory or engaging in improper activities, citing Section 37A of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001 as the basis for the notice.
