The Oman Financial Services Authority published 2025 data showing strong growth in Oman’s investment and real estate funds. Total capital rose 89.9% to about OMR 1.2 billion from OMR 630.8 million in 2024, while net assets attributable to unitholders increased 71.9% to OMR 1.36 billion from OMR 793.69 million. Combined net profits climbed 82.1% to OMR 57.3 million from OMR 31.49 million, with investment funds accounting for most of the increase. Investment funds recorded the strongest gains, with total capital up 125.4% to OMR 993.7 million, net assets up 94.6% to more than OMR 1.14 billion, and profits up 162.5% to about OMR 41 million. Real estate funds showed steadier growth, with capital rising 7.4% to about OMR 203.9 million, net assets increasing 6.6% to about OMR 218.2 million, and profits edging up 2.9% to OMR 16.34 million. The release also said the authority continues to supervise the sector through its legislative and regulatory framework, with a focus on investor protection, disclosure, transparency and governance.
